Necklace in Filigrana Beads in Green Grass and Black

Description

This gorgeous necklace, 63 cm. long, is made with seven glass beads, four of which are made with the technique called "incalmo" (taking two pieces of glass cane of a different color and fusing them together to make one piece).  The glass perforated cane is made with filigrana (strips of glass) in the factory by Luigi Cattelan.  The glass cane is passed onto maestro Mario Cavagnis, who takes the cane and forms it under the torch (lamp-worked) into interesting and various shapes.  All the components are sterling silver and Svarowski crystals.
